The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will soon be officially dating. They’ll define their relationship status and take that bold next step together, so this is certainly good news for Adam and Sally fans.
Sally and Adam spent way too long dancing around their feelings for each other – though Adam was mostly the problem!
Thankfully, Adam is willing to put any doubts and concerns to rest.
Adam knows things are complicated since he still has to coparent with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), who hates Sally’s guts.
Even so, Adam can’t coddle Chelsea forever. He’s ready to move on – and he wants to do it with Sally.
Although Adam and Sally decided to hold back on pursuing their romance just yet, they’re definitely planning on it.
Adam just wants to get Sally set up in her new COO role first.
Of course, temptation will prove too much to bear, so it won’t be long until Sally and Adam mix business with pleasure.
After that, Adam will apparently decide there’s no point in stalling their relationship. He’ll want to move forward with Sally if that’s what she wants, too.
Since there’s nothing Sally would love more, they’ll finally be on the same page.
On February 18, Sally and Adam will define what they are to each other. Since neither of them is interested in anyone else, it’s safe to say they’ll be exclusive.
Adam and Sally should make some form of a commitment, even if they’re not ready to toss around the words “boyfriend” and “girlfriend.”
They might prefer to think of each other as partners anyway – both in business and in their personal lives.
Naturally, Sally and Adam will also have to figure out when they’ll go public.
Adam may not want to get in Chelsea’s face about the big news, but he probably won’t want to creep around and hide their romance either.
After all, Adam and Sally already hang out at places like Society all the time.
They can just enjoy the freedom to call it a date now instead of pretending they’re working or supporting each other as friends.
Bottom line, Adam and Sally are all set to take this official dating step together, so it should bring them closer than ever before.
