Hailey Bieber Uses the Avne Cicalfate Cream

Hailey Bieber just got candid with her fans on Instagram. While the model has been dubbed the queen of "glazed donut" skin, she posted a barefaced photo showing the reality of how stress has taken its toll on her usually clear complexion.

Hailey Bieber just got candid with her fans on Instagram. While the model has been dubbed the queen of "glazed donut" skin, she posted a barefaced photo showing the reality of how stress has taken its toll on her usually clear complexion.

"For the past week, my skin has been a little angry and irritated for I think a few factors," she wrote on her Instagram stories. She cited "stress, travel, lack of sleep, PMS, [and] testing a new product" as reasons for her skin flare up. But Bieber is no stranger to having a skincare hack or two up her sleeve, so she shared the exact products she's using to "calm and heal" her skin while "keeping bacteria away" — including Avène's popular Cicalfate+ Restorative Protective Cream.

Made with nourishing ingredients like restorative postbiotics, which balance the skin's microbiome, and Avène's signature spring thermal water, the $28 cream soothes and protects the skin while properly hydrating it. Customers say it's "truly a miracle" cream and urge others to "keep it on hand for emergencies" — whether that's a rash, eczema flare up, or, in Hailey's case, just generally irritated skin.

One shopper with "dehydrated" skin "full of long, deep wrinkles," said they started using the Cicalfate cream after their dermatologist recommended it. After applying the cream twice a day, they noticed a "vast improvement," despite looking "10 years older" a few months before. "After two days, my skin was plumped and smooth," they wrote. "After two weeks, my skin looks elastic, healthy, and [without] deep wrinkles."

Avène's Cicalfate cream isn't the only product Bieber has in her arsenal to combat angry skin. She said she also relies on Tower 28's SOS Daily Rescue Facial Spray, which contains hypochlorous acid, an antibacterial and anti-inflammatory ingredient naturally produced by the body, as well as her own Rhode beauty products.
